From Recce's dad, David:

On behalf of Jill and Kate, I would like to sincerely thank all those people who have been there for us, both personally and in their thoughts and wishes over the past weeks.

Losing Reece has been without doubt the hardest thing that we have ever had to face, but all your thoughts, wishes and assistance has really given us the courage and will to be strong.

We are so very proud of Reece for what he has achieved in such a short time and even more so, knowing that so many people from so many different walks of life, from all over Australia and from many countries around the world had so much love and respect for him, not just as a racer but more importantly as a person – we are very, very proud that he has touched people in this way.

To everyone, please accept these small words of thanks and know that we have very much appreciated your support and wishes. We would also love to continue to see and hear from everyone, at any time, so please feel free - we know it is also hard for you too, but we do want to hear from you.

We have a few things planned, for the future, to ensure Reece’s memory lives on and we look forward to seeing everyone around the tracks in the coming months and years.
